Choose from three exciting and timely programs that will enhance your resume:
Managing IT Resources in a Complex World: Companies will always need Information Technology (IT) professionals with the appropriate balance of technical, business/management, and interpersonal skills. Designed for students who are new to IT or wish to enhance their IT knowledge and build that skill set, this special program introduces students to the core competencies necessary to achieve the balance that employers desire in their IT professionals.
Experiential Project Management: Every endeavor you take on – research projects, planning a business, product or service, projects for your community groups, or even building a building – can benefit from a solid project plan. In this program you will work with experienced professionals and faculty to learn the process from start to finish – how to build a project plan, identify the value of the project, gain the support of others and then deliver what you set out to accomplish.
Sustainable Engineering: Sustainable – or Green – Engineering addresses the critical role engineers play when facing the challenges posed by human impact on the earth’s environment and use of its finite natural resources. This program will provide an intensive experience that will include project work bridging a range of topics including a broad understanding of sustainability issues and the ways that engineers assess these, solutions for the future, energy issues, and design of structures.
With luxury housing for the duration of the six-week program, transportation to New York City, and group discounts available, there’s no reason not to consider spending your Summer@Stevens.
